At 360 Back and Spine Center, Dr. Kinchen partners with her patients to educate them on their treatment options so they are empowered to make an educated decision about their problem. She is an advocate for taking a conservative approach, if possible, prior to surgery and enjoys getting to know her patients.
She wants a complete 360 (Hence the name!) understanding of a patient’s life, living situation, and family dynamics before determining the best course of treatment.
Dr. Kinchen received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Yale University in 1990. In 1995 she graduated from Harvard Medical School. During that time, she served as a lead researcher on several projects in the Orthopaedics Biomechanics Laboratory in Boston, Massachusetts. After medical school, she completed her Orthopaedic Surgery Residency and Kostuik Spine and Deformity Fellowship at top-ranked Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She then relocated to Los Angeles, California where she was the medical director of a hospital-based spine center until 2010. She then relocated to Texas in 2010 and has established her own private practice with 2 office locations in Fort Worth and Grapevine, Texas to better serve the needs of those in the Dallas Fort Worth Community.
